Mr. Alain Ebobissé is the Chief Executive Officer of Africa50 Group, a pan-African infrastructure investment and asset management platform headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco. Since 2016, he has led Africa50’s growth to 34 shareholders, including 31 African countries, the African Development Bank, and two African central banks. With over two decades of experience in global infrastructure finance, Mr. Ebobissé previously served as Global Head of IFC InfraVentures at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he led the design and implementation of the World Bank Group’s Global Infrastructure Project Development Fund, mobilizing over US$10 billion in private and public-private investments across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Earlier, he was Chief Investment Officer at IFC, managing key relationships and major financings in the infrastructure sector. Mr. Ebobissé holds an MBA from IMD Lausanne, a master’s in engineering from UTC Compiègne, and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Saint-Étienne, France.
