Olivier Eweck is the Head of Africa Public Sector at J.P. Morgan, bringing over 20 years of expertise in financial and capital markets. In his role, Olivier engages with central banks, governments, multilateral agencies, and financial institutions across Africa to design and implement strategic business initiatives that cater to the distinct needs of both public and private sector stakeholders on the continent.

Olivier is renowned for building trusted relationships with senior-level clients, leveraging J.P. Morgan's extensive product portfolio to originate business opportunities that foster growth and innovation throughout the region. He spearheads J.P. Morgan's expansion strategy in Africa, establishing subsidiaries in pivotal locations such as Côte d’Ivoire and Kenya.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Olivier held a key position at the African Development Bank (AfDB), where he led the Syndications, Co-financing, and Client Solutions department. His tenure at AfDB was marked by pioneering innovative financial solutions and executing landmark transactions such as the first synthetic securitization of an MDB portfolio that significantly advanced the Bank's mission.

Olivier is an alumnus of the École Polytechnique Palaiseau and holds a Master's degree in Finance from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, France.
