Mr. Kalil Konaté is the Minister of Digital Transition and Digitalization of Côte d'Ivoire. He began his career in June 1996 at Petroci, before joining Nestlé in June 1997. He then joined the National Bureau of Technical Studies and Development (Bnetd) in September 1998, where he remained until November 2010. Within the Bnetd, he held several positions, including coordinator of foreign projects, head of the industry, energy, and mines unit, as well as technical advisor to the general director in charge of industry, energy, and mines. In August 2011, he was appointed General Director of the Ivorian Institute of Enterprise (Inie). In September 2021, he became President of the Board of Directors of the Society for the Development of Mining in Côte d'Ivoire (Sodemi), a position he held before being appointed minister in 2023.
