Laurent is the Head of Operations at the Africa Mobility Company, a new investment vehicle established by Africa50 to accelerate investments in mobility and transport infrastructure across the continent. Africa50 is the pan-African infrastructure investment platform created by African governments and the African Development Bank to help bridge Africa’s infrastructure funding gap.

Laurent brings 25 years of expertise in transport, operations, maintenance, and project management. Before joining Africa50 Mobility, he held senior roles across the transport and infrastructure sector, including positions at Société des Autoroutes du Nord et de l’Est de la France and Vialtis (part of the International Road Transport Union) in Paris, Bouygues Group in Libreville, and Egis, where he served as Head of Innovation on the M25 in the UK, Vice President for Operations in Manila, and later PPP Director for Africa.

He brings an extensive operational and strategic leadership to A50M, supporting its triple mission: to develop, finance, and ensure the proper long-term maintenance of toll road assets while building a diversified, pan-African project portfolio.
