Appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI as Chief Executive Officer of the Mohammed VI Investment Fund on May 12, 2025, Mrs. Nezha Hayat brings over thirty years of experience in the banking and financial sector. 

A graduate of ESSEC Paris, Nezha Hayat began her career in 1985 at Banco Atlántico in Madrid. After a period at BNP in Tangier, she joined Société Générale Marocaine de Banques in 1995, where she launched the bank’s asset management and brokerage activities, becoming in 2006 the first woman to serve on the Executive Board of a Moroccan bank. 

In 2016, Mrs. Hayat was appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI as President of the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC). During her tenure, she led a major transformation of the regulator into an independent authority and spearheaded several reforms aimed at developing and modernizing the Moroccan capital market. Internationally, Nezha Hayat served on the Board of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) as Chair of the Africa and Middle East Regional Committee (AMERC). 

In July 2013, Nezha Hayat was decorated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI with the Wissam Al Arch, Officer rank.
