Hashim Ghabashi is the President, MEASEA at ACWA Power. He is a business leader with over 21 years of experience. Hashim has a strong technical background of Project Management, Petro-Chemical, Energy and water desalination. Guiding and directing and enterprise through substantial change management utilizing strong and effective strategic leadership. Worked alongside international and reputed consultation firms to lead and participate in organizational improvements initiatives. Th programs diversified in cost leader shop program, reliability improvements, HSE, roles & responsibilities & culture improvement enhancement. He has a high ability in building and aligning teams and directing toward common goals. This ability is supported with the exposure of work in multi-cultural environment in additional to several relations with international contractors from Europe & Far East & China.

Hashim started with ACWA Power on 2015 and was the EMO of Bowarege and then RABEC operational units. In 2018 he started as EMD for Hassyan Clean Coal Project and finally and currently EMD of Noor Energy 1, world largest CSP project under construction.
