Mr. Ousmane Fall is the Director of Non-Sovereign Operations and Private Sector at the African Development Bank Group, a position he has held since August 2023. He brings extensive experience in private sector development and infrastructure financing across Africa. Prior to his appointment, he spent four years at the International Finance Corporation, where he led country engagement and ministerial dialogue, covered multiple infrastructure sectors, and oversaw the creation of the Municipal Financing Platform for Sub-Saharan Africa. He also delivered several first-of-their-kind investments, including asset-backed securities for energy access and IFC’s first private hydro and solar projects in Gabon and Benin.

Fall previously served for a decade at the African Development Bank in roles spanning strategy, non-sovereign operations, public sector, and risk, supporting project structuring, credit enhancement, and landmark transactions across key sectors. He began his career in structured finance at Société Générale in Paris and holds an MSc in Finance from INSEEC.
