H.E. Mr. Abdullah KH ALMUSAIBEEH was appointed President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) by the Bank’s Board of Governors during its 2025 Annual Meeting in Kuwait City. He assumed office on July 1, 2025. Prior to this role, he served at the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development for over three decades, holding senior positions including Director of Operations, Regional Director for Asia, the Pacific, Latin America, and the Arab countries, and Deputy Director of Operations. He also served on various boards and committees of Arab and international development institutions, including BADEA’s Board of Directors.

Mr. ALMUSAIBEEH holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Kuwait University and has undertaken extensive training in administration, negotiation, and technical reporting. He brings over 30 years of experience in development cooperation, international finance, and institutional leadership.
